- Heliski Packages are now subject to 12% HST for Canadian travelers and reduced to 6% for International travelers

- Deposits hold your seat and differ for each operator
- Final payment is due 90 days pre start date
- Don’t expect a DEAL, however incentives are offered by operators for introducing a friend/family after the first season
- Operators receiving full payment between March and June prior to the next season offer a savings program
- Plan your heli holiday to include Pre & Post accommodation, this will add 1 > 2 days onto your trip. This is because lodges are remote and take time to get there.
- Trip Cancellation Insurance and added Canadian medical is essential
- Heli evacuation insurance is optional and is offered upon arrival
- Multi day packages are sold by the vertical feet/ meters
- Multi day packages are designed to include: meals, accommodation, guide services, avalanche beacon, ABS (some locations), skis and vertical footage/meters (# of days dependent)
- Additional vertical can be purchased per 1000 vertical feet/meters
- Heliboarding is welcome at all BC operators
- Average down days on a 7 day package, one. Remember that when it snows – good things happen!
- Daily packages are sold by the run
- Operators offer no refunds unless the guaranteed vertical for the package is not met due to bad weather. Unused vertical is reimbursed at a base cost of XX$ for 1000 vertical feet or meters. This policy can vary per operator.
- Gratuities are shared among all staff
- If you are pleased with your guide, additional tipping is OK
