t all began on a snowy day, at Silver Star Mountain in 1990 while being employed as guest service manager. With so many internationally guests drawn to the mountains of British Columbia, thoughts began to flow. In 1991, a meeting was arranged with owner/founder of Tyax Lodge and Heliskiing, George Rosset. With his support and guidance I was introduced to an exciting and challenging industry of heli skiing BC!
British Columbia offers the best heliskiing in the world. It is home to 22 heli operators, 18 multi-day operators and 4 daily operators registered with Heli Cat Canada. Heli Cat Canada is the governing body, whose purpose is to guide, develop the best practices in sustainability and saefty.
Heli ski Holiday provides a FREE all round service, specializing in individual needs and wants. Backed by 3 decades of maintaining relations with many of the heli ski operators of the world our consulting service will do the work for you, by shredding days of searching and filtering data from your daily schedule.
Whether you are an individual, part of a small group or a corporate office looking for a private escape heliskiing / helisnowboarding trip we will work hard to make it happen. Comprehensive, tailored and unbiased information will be gathered based on needs, ability, personality and timeline. A detailed response will come back to you within 24 hours with a selection of 2 > 4 operators which begins the process. The operator/operators are always kept in the loop along the way.
Once the choices of been narrowed down to one operator, a hold can be requested but the amount of time is based on how close to the date the request is. To confirm the seat a deposit and personal information will be required. All payments are made directly to the operator, with each having their own procedures and policies.
