Arctic Heliskiing Greenland
rctic Heliskiing is coming into their 20th season of exploration and discovery in Greenland. If naming runs, experiencing first descents and seeing peaks that have never been seen by a human being before excites you then a heliskiing holiday in Greenland is worth considering. With its treeless landscapes and rugged raw beauty it is a ends-of-the-earth feel!
The heli skiing and snowboarding season in Greenland is 2 months during the spring. Spring is the best time to visit this region as there is more snow on the glaciers and the snow pack is usually very well settled resulting in less avalanche danger. The weather is also more stable, the days getting longer and if storm comes along there are more possibilities to get out.
Accommodation
Your stay is at the Kulusuk Hotel in Greenland, based on single accommodation. Kulusuk is a small village with limited accommodation so this is the only settlement hotel available in the area, and while it is a basic hotel it is comfortable and well managed as well as offering amazing views of the area.
