Heliski Adventures Worldwide
irst operation to open was Heliski Nepal IN 2002. It is the first and only Company allowed to heliski in the Kingdom of Nepal. It was the dream of the ski and mountaineering experienced founders to open up a new ski destination to the heliski community and share with them, the beauty of the Himalayas.
In search of more exotic heliski areas, the founders set their sights on Chile in 2009 and went to the most southern city on our planet, Porto Williams. “Heliskiing in Tierra del Fuego and the Darwin Cordillera isn’t just a heliski experience, it’s an adventure filled with the history of the great explorers and their tales of native Indians. This area is unspoiled and pristine, it’s one of the more beautiful and scenic parts of the world, where glaciers flow into the sea”.
Then in 2012 operations began in Greece. The founders researched over years to find great heliski opportunity in Europe and they found it at Mount Olympus, in the Pindus region in Northern Greece. Much to everyone’s surprise, Greece has several established ski areas which are not very developed. BUT there is vast skiable terrain perfect for heliskiing. In 2014 we were proud to provide the logistics and guides for the Warren Miller Film Productions of “No Turning Back”.
In addition to, once a year one heliskiing tour is organized to go the Antarctic Peninsula and the Shetland Islands. A majority of these areas have never been skied before. With 22 hours of daylight, guests will always have the opportunity to ski each and every day. The Antarctic Peninsula offers the most dramatic scenery and biggest variety of wildlife in Antarctica. Visitors are easily overcome by sensory overload by the huge amount of ice bergs, glaciers, high mountains and the abundant and tame wildlife.
