Heliskiing has been seen as a male dominated area and it's time to make a change. Atlin Heli ski is addressing this with a designated women only week with a goal of gathering a 12 like-minded women with the opportunity for empowerment, education, and to learn from some of the best in the heli skiing world!
The backcountry shouldn’t be intimidating. With the right guidance and information, it is somewhere that everyone can enjoy!
You will be led by the most patient and qualified heli ski-guides, who will be more than happy to share their heliskiing tips andtricks with you. In addition, Anne Jehn Snowsports Instructor & CEO and co-owner of Atlin Heli Ski will be to offer personalized feedback on ski technique for improving skills.
The setting: A picturesque village on the shores of Atlin Lake, with snow-capped mountains as postcard-perfect backdrop. Original buildings from the Klondike Gold Rush era welcome visitors. Your accommodation is Atlin Mountain Inn, accommodating all 12 women!
It is not necessary to have 12 in one group, if that happens it would be incredible. However, by no means is it a requirement. Individuals, duos and groups are all welcome. Each lift in the helicopter sits 4 people and a guide so a group of 4 means you ride together.
Heli ski Holiday will not play favorites and will always so what is possible in the clients best interest while staying true to the heli ski operators of BC and Internationally.
